We are seeking a skilled Echo Sonographer to perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures and provide high-quality patient care.

Description

Responsibilities:

- Perform echocardiography procedures using ultrasound equipment to visualize and assess cardiac structures and blood flow

- Obtain and analyse patient data, including medical history and previous test results, to aid in the interpretation and reporting of echocardiographic findings

- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, while maintaining proper infection control practices

- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot any technical issues, and report malfunctions or need for repairs

- Stay up-to-date with advances in echocardiography techniques and technology through professional development activities and continuing education

- Maintain accurate patient records and produce comprehensive and timely reports of echocardiographic findings

- Adhere to ethical and legal standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy at all times

Qualifications:

- Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field

- Strong knowledge of echocardiography principles, techniques, and procedures

- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting ultrasound equipment, including knowledge of different transducers and imaging modes

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, medical staff, and colleagues

- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities to maintain accurate records and produce comprehensive reports

- Commitment to maintaining professional competence through ongoing education and professional development.
