ASA Employment and Salary Survey is coming!
The ASA biennial Salary and Employment Survey opens next week, providing all members with an important opportunity to contribute to the future of the sonography profession.
Aim of the survey
The aim of the survey is to gather a comprehensive picture of salaries, employment conditions, benefits, and professional development for sonographers across Australia and New Zealand. The insights generated will establish critical benchmark data on the current state of the sonographer workforce and identify the key trends shaping the profession.
Important benchmarks
The findings from the survey will be used to create a report. The report is invaluable for the profession, employers and individual sonographers, providing one of the few profession-wide sources of workforce and remuneration data available. It helps benchmark employment conditions across the sector and is an important source of information for ASA's annual Australian and New Zealand workforce reports.
It is also an essential and credible resource for effective advocacy with governments, employers and other stakeholders on workforce planning, workforce shortages, recruitment and retention, professional recognition and improved workforce conditions for sonographers.
Share your experience
Your participation is essential. The data collected will form a strong evidence base to support ASA’s advocacy efforts with governments, industry, and key stakeholders. By sharing your experience, you are helping to strengthen calls for improved remuneration, better working conditions, and sustainable career pathways for sonographers. The findings will also be valuable to individual practitioners and employers seeking insights into workforce practices and trends.
Confidentiality
To ensure confidentiality and independence, ASA has engaged Survey Matters, an experienced external research provider, to conduct the survey. All responses are strictly confidential and de-identified, with results reported to ASA in aggregated form only.
The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete, and we encourage all members to take part. The more responses we receive, the more accurate and impactful the findings will be.
Members will receive an email invitation on 2 July from Survey Matters with a unique survey link, be sure to check your inbox and spam/junk folders. If you have any questions or require assistance, Survey Matters can be contacted on 03 9452 0101 or via support@surveymatters.com.au.
