Presenters

Greg Lammers has been scanning since 1989 with time spent working in London from 1990 – 1994. He has held several positions as a Lead Sonographer, Tutor, University Lecturer and DMU Examiner.

Greg regularly presents at local, state, national and international meetings. In 2014 he did charity work in Myanmar (Burma) training Doctors in the use of ultrasound in local villages.

His last 20 years has seen him specialise in musculoskeletal ultrasound, its science but also its craft and looking for good patient outcomes.

In over 30 years of scanning, his passion has not waned and he still finds this an amazing and privileged career.

He presently works for I-MED Radiology in Berwick as a general sonographer.

Andrew Grant completed radiography training in 1992 and since then has ventured to multiple countries sharing his expertise in sonography and radiography.

Andrew has given a number of lectures on MSK, vascular and paediatrics for ASA and ASUM in Australia and internationally. Andrew recently co-hosted the Canon Anatomy Day in Melbourne and Auckland.

Besides his skills in ultrasound imaging, Andrew also holds a commercial pilot’s license which he has used to fly in and out of remote communities, establishing a strong presence as a flying sonographer.

Andrew has also worked for one of the top medical centres in western USA, UCLA Medical Centre, where he assisted in setting up the musculoskeletal ultrasound program. Andrew now practices at East Melbourne Radiology for I-Med where he is the Ultrasound Supervisor.

Quanson Sirlyn

Shortly after completing his radiography degree, Quanson undertook a Grad Dip of Medical Ultrasound at Monash University and completed his Master of Medical Sonography at UniSA.

He has been scanning for 20 years and is currently the tutor and chief sonographer at Capital Radiology.  overlooking a large volume of MSK scans.

Quanson was the recipient of the:

-        ASA “Mentor of the Year 2015” and

-        Nominated for ASA “Educator of the Year” in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2020

He is an associate fellow for ASA and the author of multiple peer-reviewed scientific journal articles for Sonography and AJUM. He regularly presents at local and state meetings, as well as conducting a webinar for ASA.

He believes the most rewarding experience is being able to help his peers and trainees reach their peak potential and enjoy their work.

Martine Chadwick

Martine is an MSK specialist sonographer having previously held the position of head Sonographer in a tertiary Sports Medicine practice, Imaging @ Olympic Park. Melbourne.

She has over 25 years of experience in Sonography, having worked in a range of multidisciplinary areas over that time. In the last 9 years she has dedicated her interests purely to Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and Rheumatology.

She has presented at numerous local, national and international conferences and is involved in research and publication with Monash University.

She is a passionate advocate for accurate clinically biased ultrasound imaging, especially when training peers, rheumatologists and international fellows. She is currently working on a mentor-based, onsite, training module for Advancing Sonography. And in her spare time has jumped back into women’s imaging at Melbourne Ultrasound for Women to “brush off” some well-established cobwebs.
