Registrations cancelled in writing at least 7 days before the event start date are eligible for a full refund, less a 10% processing fee. Written notice must be submitted to ASA by the deadline. This program will provide a comprehensive exploration of expanding the scope of musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound, focusing on practical applications from frozen shoulder to flat foot and peripheral nerve assessment.

Dr. Sumi Shrestha Taylor, PhD, FASA
Dr. Sumi Shrestha Taylor, PhD, FASA is a senior sonographer at Pacific Radiology, Wellington, New Zealand, with a special interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound.
Sumi completed a PhD in ultrasound, with her research focusing on the role of ultrasound in the diagnosis of adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder. She is passionate about musculoskeletal imaging, education, and advancing the role of ultrasound in clinical practice.
A Fellow of the ASA, Sumi is an active contributor to sonographer education through conference presentations and workshops. In recognition of her contributions to the profession, she was awarded the ASA New Zealand Sonographer of the Year in 2026.
