2026 ASA Board Election opens
All Accredited Medical Sonographer (AMS) members of the ASA are invited to vote in the 2026 ASA Board Directors Election, with three General Director positions available for a three-year term.
The ASA Board plays an important role in shaping the direction of the association and the sonography profession. By voting, members have the opportunity to help determine who will represent them and contribute to decisions that shape the future of the profession.
Meet the candidates
There are eight candidates standing for the three General Director positions this year. Candidates bring a range of clinical, leadership and education experience, as well as a commitment to advancing sonography.
Members are encouraged to read the candidate profiles to learn more about each candidate’s experience, perspectives and priorities ahead of the election.
How to vote
The election will be conducted by electronic ballot. AMS members will receive an email from TrueVote, the independent company managing the ASA Board Election, containing a unique link to cast their vote.
Members can vote for up to three candidates.

- Election opens: 10.00am AEDT Friday 9 October 2026
- Election closes: 5.00pm AEDT Monday 2 November 2026
- Successful candidates announced: ASA Annual General Meeting, Thursday 5 November 2026
