Celebrating Our Branches: July-August Highlights
Over the past few weeks, ASA branches across Australia have been buzzing with activity, hosting a wide variety of events that brought members together to learn, connect and share expertise. From workshops and engaging case nights to festive social gatherings, more than 340 members took part in CPD activities designed to inspire and support sonographers at every career stage.
Here’s a look back at the highlights from July and August.

Themed Christmas in July, the committee brought festive cheer with decorations sourced from their own cupboards, complete with a Christmas tree and colourful table centrepieces. The warm, welcoming atmosphere set the perfect tone for an evening of fun and education.
The trivia featured three rounds covering vascular, obstetrics and gynaecology, general, and cardiac topics, finishing with a music round and a few playful curveballs.
