As we celebrate NAIDOC Week 2026 and this year's theme, 50 Years of Deadly, the ASA acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and work and pays respect to Elders past and present. Creating culturally safe healthcare environments is an ongoing commitment. Throughout NAIDOC Week and beyond, the ASA is proud to support sonographers with educational resources that encourage cultural responsiveness, strengthen understanding and help improve care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
