A Night of Learning, Connection and Clinical Insights at Ipswich Hospital

The ASA Queensland Branch warmly invites you to an engaging evening of networking, refreshments, and fascinating sonography case presentations.

Join us at the Ipswich Hospital Auditorium for a relaxed and supportive Case Study Night, where attendees are encouraged to share an examination that challenged their thinking, ignited curiosity, or provided a valuable learning experience.

Whether you are a student, an early-career sonographer, or an experienced sonographer, this is a fantastic forum to learn from your peers, exchange ideas, and strengthen professional connections within the sonography community. Presenters will also receive 10 CPD points for sharing a case.

Not presenting? Come along anyway to enjoy the case discussions, connect with colleagues, enjoy some delicious food, and earn easy CPD points in a welcoming environment.
 

Food and refreshments provided! 
 
There is nearby free street parking or drive-up multi-storey parking (located off Chelmsford Avenue), which costs $10 for 2-3 hours. Ipswich train station is also a 750 metre walk to the venue for those looking for alternate travel options.

There will be a lucky door prize and all presenters go into the draw to win a 30% discount to the ASA Annual Conference in Adelaide. (ASA members only). 
 

Want to Present? 

Please send your name and presentation title by 27^th October 2026 to either:

Presentation Guidelines 

• Keep presentations to 7 slides for 7 minutes 

• Remove all patient identifiers from images and clips 

• Suggested structure: 
  Title → Patient history → Key images/cines → Key learning points → Follow-up/outcome 

• Bring your presentation on a USB, and keep images accessible offline as backup
